The Magic of Willow Tree

When you first come into our shop, most people Willow Tree ornament turn to the right (it's a fact of life, they always turn right). And when they do, the first thing they see is our Willow Tree booth...filled to the brim with everything Willow Tree: angels, figurines, Nativity, ornaments, you name it. You can always tell the Willow Tree collectors, because at that point you hear them gasp, and then say, "Oooohhhh...".

  1. I just love willow tree!! I would looooove to have the nativity scene. It is so precious! Do people usually buy the whole thing or do they do it piece by piece? I need to look into that.

  2. I love them too!

Kindra, the Nativity comes in small sets or groupings. There is the central scene with Joseph, Mary and baby, a shepherd, two sheep, and a donky. Another grouping is the three Wise Men. Another is a shepherd with stable animals. The last group I have is the ox and goat. Then you can buy the creche separately to display them in if you want.

Some people will buy one grouping a year; others will ask their hubbies to give them the whole set for Christmas! LOL

  3. I LOVE the Willow Tree Collection. My DH normally buys me one at Christmas and another for Mother's Day. I have quite the collection now but love them so. I started buying them for my daughter now.
I love how each one represents something.

  5. My husband bought me the one with the brown haired girl with her arms stretched out toward heaven and blue birds on her arms... It's me made over and he knew it. ~♥~
P.S. I have actually had wild birds land on my fingers-I guess I have some kind of connection with them being my name is Robin! :)

  7. Rondell, I'll tell you a secret...I cheat! LOL

I try to write up several blog posts when I'm in the mood and the creative juices are flowing; then I'll have a backlog to choose from each morning when it's time to post. It's always nice to have at least a week's worth waiting in the wings to be posted.

It makes consistent blogging a lot less stressful!

  8. I love the willow tree figurines. I would like to get our daughter a new one for Christmas. I'm wondering what new ones are available? Can you let me know? They have one little boy that will be a year in Jan. I'll have to check & see which ones she has. Thanks, Pam
