Then and Now

As I wade through the liquidation process at our shop, it amazes me how quickly the look and feel of the shop is changing. (For those of you who are new to my blog, you can click here to read why I'm closing the shop.)

Some of my favorite pieces of furniture have left to go to new homes, and their leaving creates a hole on the sales floor and in my heart. This is what happens when you tend to buy things that you love, rather than what you think will sell! LOL

Here's a peek at what you'd see if you came through the door two months ago:

And here's what you'd see today:

Lots of my pretties have found new homes. *sob*

Some of the biggest changes can be seen in the back of the shop where all of my primitives customers congregate. Here's what you'd see in the candle area then:

The booth where I displayed our primitive linens has seen huge changes. Here it was then:

And now:

And yet another booth then:

All of our inventory in our Indian Trail shop is available at 30% off regular prices and as you can see, it's going fast. If you're in the area, stop by to see me!

  3. WoW Pam! I can see how it would be hard to let go of some of those terrific things in your store. Plus that store was your baby for a long time and now it must feel like it is all unraveling. But it is all good because you want everything to sell.I wish I could have been able to come for a visit to your store! Hang in there girl-I know you are working very hard! Have a wonderful week!

  8. Things did look a lot different last week as compared to Christmas rime when I was there before! Don't worry about not taking pictures...I meant to bring in my camera too, and even packed it in a special bag right on top so I could get to it. But when Jimmy packed it car, he put it way back in the trunk where it could easily been reached...GRR! Oh well..we had a wonderful time anyway! I wish I could come back one more time..there is always more I could find:) Have a great day!!

  9. I too wish I lived closer so I could come by for some shopping fun. Is it hard to see the inventory going down in your store? I would think it would be bitter-sweet. Many blessings to you~ Birgit
