A Little Sunday Drive

Yesterday Hubby and I hopped in the car and drove two hours to Raeford, North Carolina to visit my friend Jen and to see her fabulous shop, Just Country. When we pulled up, we saw the cutest building that we had seen yet on this long country road.

Thank goodness she’s open on Sundays!

If you like “prim”, you’ll love Jen’s shop. There are several rooms, each filled with gorgeous vignettes. Look at this pretty table:

And who wouldn’t love to have some of these goodies in their home:

There are handmade baskets:

With rag ball bowl fillers:

And mixing bowls and lamp shades…

Lots of goodies tucked into shelves lit with candles:

There’s even a bedroom.

If you’re in the eastern North Carolina area, I hope you’ll stop in and say hello to Jen (she’s the pretty lady with the sweet smile on the right). You’ll be very glad that you did! She has a Customer Appreciation Sale scheduled for July 18th, by the way. If you live too far away to visit, you can peek at her blog.

Now it’s time to get to work…my parents are coming over for dinner tonight and I have lots to do. Happy Monday, my friends!

  7. What a great shop to visit. We had one like it, down the road, but it closed down. I did find another further away, but a nice drive and not only does the first floor have all new prims, the upper half is filled with antique booths.
