Wordless Wednesday: Scenes From Italy For My Snowbound Friends

I think it's time for another's been too long.

  1. I know, it's an odd post. I was looking through some old photos today and came across these that were taken in 2003 when Hubby and I chaperoned Baby Girl's school trip to Italy. It was glorious! My favorite city was Florence...great shopping there, girls.

I'd love to go back someday -- just Hubby and me -- without all the teenagers! LOL

  2. Beautiful photos! Thank you for sharing-what a lucky girl you are to get to go on such a lovely vacation!
Schools were cancelled in our area and more snow is expected. I don't mind-I'm not planning on driving anywhere-just gonna stay home sew, and spend time with my kids! Even my daughters work is closing early today so putting a fire in the fireplace, makin hot chocolate and cookies! Hope you have a nice day!

  3. Tam, it was beautiful but remember, it was a school-sponsored trip for high-schoolers, so it was CHEAP in every sense of the word. Two-star hotels were the norm, some without air conditioning. We happened to be there during the hottest summer they'd had in Italy in decades, so you can imagine how hard it was to sleep at night.

But the things we saw were beautiful!

  4. Just are so lucky to have seen such a neat country like that! But I agree, next time just you and DH:)

Your comments always make me smile. Thanks for taking the time to leave me a sweet note!
