Thanks for Passing It On

A few weeks ago, that sweet Diane from Lavender Dreams hosted a giveaway for two adorable prim stocking ornaments that she made herself, each with an organic peppermint lip balm tucked inside from Eco Natural Soap. Diane gave two away with the hope that the winner would pass on the second to someone else.

Ann at A Hole in the Basket Primitives was the lucky winner of the two stockings, and being the generous person that she is, held a giveaway of her own to select who would receive the second stocking. Plus, she added in a wax snowman face tart from Brandy of The Lil' Prim Cabin on Etsy.

And I was lucky enough to be the winner! Not only did I get a sweet little handmade from my friend Diane, but also some other goodies to try from two other handmade sellers. And it's all thanks to Ann's generosity.

This is one of the reasons that I love blogging...the wide open hearts and arms of the bloggers, who share their lives and talents with others. I'm now starting a collection of the handmades from my blogging friends and can't wait to add to it in the coming year.

If you haven't yet "met" Ann and Diane, I hope you'll pop over to their blogs; they are both wonderful talented ladies that I'm sure you'll love as much as I do.

  1. Oh goodie! And what a sweet post, Pam! I was so happy that you won the little stocking I made! And I know you will love the lip balm...and need it this winter! Thanks to Ann for sharing and being so generous! Enjoy your week! Warm Southern hugs, Diane

  2. Pam, you are soooooo lucky!! I can't believe you won yet another giveaway. Congratulations on all your goodies.

  3. What a sweet giveaway. Blogging is the nicest thing I've ever done, the people are amazing.

  4. Congrats Pam! You won again! I hope your Christmas was wonderful :)

  6. Hi Pam...congrats on the win! Read your previous post and saw all your goodies. Love your necklace...what a wonderful idea and a wonderful gift. And loved that blanket kit. Maybe the quicker you get sewing on it in that wonderful new sewing room, the quicker it may need to be used! ;) So glad you were able to open your gifts with your children, albeit many miles away! Happy new year! ~~Annie

  7. Congratulations Pam....sweet gifts...that peppermint balm sounds yummy. Gifts from blog buddies are the best gifts in the world. I so love looking around my home and seeing things they've made. They each are treasures like none other....Hope you're have a wonderful Wednesday! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
